Update on Carlyn and new issues

Carlyn is at Egelston's NICU and is stable. She has significant NEC(necrotizing enterocolitis), but has not needed surgery yet. She is being treated medically for now.

Ava was also showing signs of infection this morning, so she has been put on medical therapy also. Jillian is OK, but her feedings were stopped as a precaution.

Honestly this is the most heart wrenching and difficult situation I can remember(and I have had similar family health issues in the past), but these are my babies.

Please pray for our girls and family. This will be a lengthy recovery for Carlyn at the least.

You do not know me personally, I am "Mrs. Shannon" that takes care of Penny's children. Just wanted to let you know that you have constantly been in my prayers since the first day that she told me the good news for your family. I will continue to pray for you and your beautiful triplets. My children and I prayed a special prayer for your babies tonight as they are in surgery.
In God's Love,
